Base Class: Cleric
The deity of the tabaxi is a fickle entity, as befits the patron of cats. The tabaxi believe that the Cat Lord wanders the world, watching over them and intervening in their affairs
as needed. Clerics of the Cat Lord are rare and typically are typically mischief-makers and instigators who stand as a constant challenge to the accepted order among
both gods and mortais. They are equally likely to be by your side up until the moment trouble begins as scoundrels, gamblers, rebels, and liberators. Their clerics are a disruptive force in the world, puncturing pride, mocking tyrants, stealing from the rich, freeing captives, and flouting hollow traditions.
Clerics of the Cat Domain are almost exclusively found within the tribes of the exotic cat-like Tabaxi. These Clerics are extremely rare and are in very high standing within the Tabaxi culture and they serve as spiritual leaders but also as fearsome defenders of the land. Contrary to the heavily armored clerics of most other domains, Cat Domain Clerics either wear light armor or no armor at all, counting instead on the uncanny reflexes granted to them by their Cat Lord. These Clerics almost never use a shield, instead preferring to use light weapons to remain mobile.
Domain Spells
You gain domain spells at the cleric levels listed in the Cat Lord Domain Spells table. See the Divine Domain class feature for how domain spells work.

Bonus Proficiencies
When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency with martial finesse weapons and acrobatics.
Cat-like Reflexes
At first level, your devotion to the Cat Lord grants you uncanny reflexes that you can use to your advantage combat. When you are attacked by a creature within 30 feet you can see, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attacker; your quick movements making you harder to hit.
You cannot use this feature if you are prone or otherwise unable to move, or if you are wearing a shield or any armor other than light armor.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Channel Divinity - Call Clowder
As an action you present your holy symbol and whisper a prayer to the Cat Lord. Until the end of your turn you do not provoke attacks of opportunity. Additionally, all hostile creatures within 30 feet of you must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d8 + your Cleric level radiant damage on a failed saving throw, or half that much on a successful one. A creature that has total cover from you is not affected.
Go For The Throat
Starting at 6th level you are able to instinctively strike where it would cause the most damage. When you make an attack roll you can use your Channel Divinity to try and strike at a target's weak spot and convert your attack into a critical hit even if it would normally not be one. You still have to hit the target with the attack. You make this choice after you see the roll but before the DM says whether the attack hits or misses.
Divine Strike
At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with the merciless fury of the Cat Lord. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 damage of the same type dealt by the weapon to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.
Spirit of the Cat Lord
At 17th level you gain +2 to AC, +10 ft movement speed and a climb speed equal to your walking speed. You can take the dodge action as a bonus action. If you dodge an attack, you may use your reaction to move up to half of your speed without taking attacks of opportunity. Additionally, after a dodge, the attacking creature must make a Dexterity save or fall prone. The DC for this save is 8 + proficiency + Dex mod. You need to be wearing no or light armor to gain these benefits.

Posted Apr 5, 2019I was thinking that perhaps this was a bit too martial. I've been working on a version that mixes in a bit of the Trickery Domain characteristics since that was mentioned specifically about Tabaxi clerics.
