Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Heart of Fire sorcerers have fire based magical abilities and can transform into beings of pure fire. They’re powers are often uncontrollable and random and they are generally dangerous to be around. They can turn their bodies into pure fire, burning everything they touch. A well trained Heart of Fire sorcerer has unrivaled control over their fire and can even control the fire of others.

Burning Veins

At first level, the Heart of Fire sorcerer has a body imbued with fire, granting them resistance to all fire attacks.

Fiery Transformation

Your sorcerous powers grant you the ability to transform into a being of pure fire. At first level, you do not yet have enough power to control this transformation. Whenever you take any amount of psychic damage or more than 10 damage of any one type at a time, you have a 40 percent chance to uncontrollably transform into your fiery form. When this happens, you take 1d6 force damage and send out a burst of flame in a 15 ft. radius around you. All creatures in this radius must make a DEX save against your sorcerer spell save DC, taking 2d6 fire damage in a failed save and half as much on a successful one. While in this form, whenever you take fire damage, you heal half of the damage instead of taking it. Also, anything flammable you touch is ignited. You pass through all other creatures in this form, dealing 1d6 fire damage the first time on a turn that you enter that creature's space. The creature takes 1d6 fire damage at the start of each of it's turns. While in this form, you can fit through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing. You return to your original form if there is not enough oxygen to support your fire, or if you are doused with a gallon of water. At 6th level you have learned to control this transformation and can control when it happens. You cannot be forced into this form except by psychic damage, you do not take force damage when entering it, and you can control the burst of flames.

Controlled Flame

At 6th level, you have developed an immunity to fire. You have well developed command over fire and can deflect fire spells back at your opponents.

Flame of Glory

At 14th level, your flames take on an additional trait. You can cause purple or golden flames to erupt from your body towards a point within range. All creatures within that area must succeed on a DEX save against your sorcerer spell save DC or take 2d10 fire damage and 2d10 radiant (golden flames) or necrotic (purple flames) damage, taking half as much on a successful save. You develop a resistance to the chosen type. Once you use this feature, you must take a long rest before using it again.

Necrotic

Your flame of glory attack takes on a purple hue, dealing necrotic damage. You develop a resistance to necrotic damage.

Radiant

Your flame of glory attack takes on a golden hue, dealing radiant damage. You develop a resistance to radiant damage.

Soul of True Fire

At 18th level you have fully unlocked your abilities. You can absorb any flames nearby and cannot be forced out of your fire form. You can absorb the power of fire elementals and can create fiery extensions of yourself. The power of your fire spells is increased, making you a true master of fire. You can also create fire elementals from your fires.
