at 3rd level, when you enter this collage, you choose one plane to draw most of you power from. choose the astral plane, the ethereal plane, the shadowfell, or the fey wilds. later feature in this class will reference your choice. additionally, you learn spells based off of your choice at certain level in this class, as shown on the table below. these spell does not count against the number of bards spells you can learn, but counts as a bard spell for you.

Planar Knowledge
beginning at level 3, you have an advantage on checks to recall information about the planes.
Planar Familiarity
at 6th level, when you are on the plane you chose a level 3, you gain the following benefits:
- you have an advantage on saving throws against effects from the plane, such as psychic wind on the astral plane, or despair on the shadowfell
- you cannot be surprised, and you have an advantage on initiative rolls
- once between long rests, when you cast a spell that heals or deal damage, you may heal or deal the maximum amount
- creatures have a disadvantage on saving throws against your spells
Planar Travel
starting at level 14, you become a master of traveling the planes. you learn the [spell[plane shift[/spell] spell, and you gain the following benefits when casting it:
- you may choose to, in plane of one of the 8 creature, choose to shift an object that is large or smaller.
- you may choose 10 creatures instead of 8 to bring with.
- you do not need the material components to cast it.
You are getting features for first level when you select the subclass at third.
This is a really cool idea, but seems rather underpowered. Over than a situational advantage on INT checks, they get no lvl 3 feature, most subclasses get a new bardic inspiration use, maybe a teleportation, length based on the dice roll? Level six is strong, but ridiculously situational. Level 14 I think is pretty good but they can’t actually cast plane shift yet, and bonuses to one spell is a bit narrow. I love the idea of a planar bard, but all and all, this is a little weak.
