Ninja

The ninja uses a mixture of different abilities using chakra to use magical abilities and using these abilities to get bonuses to being sneaky and leaving without a trace.

 

Chakra

When you gain this archetype at 3rd level you gain Chakra points. The amount of chakra points you have is determined by your Wis + Proficiency bonus. Then you can spend those Chakra points on one of these abilities.

• Substitute: You can use your action to spend 1 Chakra point to teleport 30ft in any direction. Using this will leave an object where you were last (usually a log but it can be any inanimate nonmagical object that is Tiny to Medium).

• Flicker: You can spend 1 Chakra point to flicker your body. This flicker will give enemies disadvantage on perception checks. Your body is barely visible because you use your Chakra to hide your presence.

• Sudden Strike: You can use your bonus action to spend 1 chakra point to preform an instant strike. The instant strike attack will give you advantage on that attack also meaning you get sneak attack damage.

 

Shadow Clone

When you get this ability at 9th level, you can use your action spend 2 chakra points to summon a clone of yourself. this clone has 1 HP and does not attack. The enemy can determine if its a clone by rolling a perception check. The DC is your 8+Wis+Prof. The clone looks exactly like you with the exception with your magic items not being magical. 

Master of The Secret Arts

Starting at 13th level you now have upgraded versions of your original abilities.

• Substitution+: You can now use your reaction to teleport out of the way from an attack and replace it with the substitution.
• Sudden Strike+: You Now are guaranteed to hit the attack.
• Flicker+: your Flicker will now last 1 minute and you can gain advantage from your attacks.

Grandmaster of the Secret Arts

Starting at 17th level; you gain upgraded versions of your other moves and a new one.

• Shadow Clone+: Your clones now can channel your Chakra through them. The clone can now attack and uses the magical properties of your magic items.
• Elemental Rush: You can now use your Chakra into a physical form to decimate enemies.  you can use your action to spend 3 Chakra points to attack an enemy with 10d6 damage. the type of damage can be one of 5 things. Fire, Cold, Lightning, Poison, or Force. You still get Sneak Attack damage if you have advantage.
