Base Class: Monk
There isn't enough time in your life to hear the backstory of this individual. The anime protagonist's past is shrouded in mystery, and you can bet this monk's parents were gruesomely murdered in his or her formative years.
Wait...am I...the Chosen One?
At 3rd level, you have tapped into a strange new power. Whenever you enter a fight, you gain a strange aura filled with different linguistic characters. Your appearance also becomes more cartoonish in nature and ominous music plays anytime you enter the fight. You gain proficiency in performance and disadvantage in intimidation.
The Power of Friendship!
At 3rd level, you harness the power of friendship to overcome any obstacle. As you look at your friend, you must give them a wink and a smile, imbuing you both with the power of friendship. You may use your bonus action to spend up to 3 ki points. For each ki point spent this way, you may choose one friendly creature(including yourself) and give that creature advantage on their next attack.
Maximum Effort!
At 3rd level, when making an attack, you name your strikes and may yell louder and louder, announcing each of your newly named strikes. For every time that you yell out your strikes louder(to dm’s discretion), you deal an additional 1d8 damage.
Extensive Monologue
At 6th level, you have harnessed the power of explaining your entire backstory to people before a fight. Before engaging in combat, you may spend your reaction to loudly and deliberately make a long-winded monologue aimed at a creature explaining exactly how you've just gained the upper hand and have been holding back in some ridiculous and obscure way. Make a Charisma (Intimidation) or (Performance) check contested by the target's passive Wisdom (Insight). On a success, you have advantage on the next melee attack against the target creature on this turn and the target takes 2d6 psychic. On a failed save, the target gains advantage when making attacks against you and takes half damage.
Plot Armor
You suddenly gain the upper hand, even in the most dire of situations. You gain a +2 bonus to your armor class. You also gain advantage on any death saving throws you make.
Aren't They Just God at This Point?
At 17th level, you have ascended to such levels of bullshit anime power and plot armor that the fans begin debating if you could beat Goku. When making attacks, a 18-20 is considered a critical hit and you can quite literally alter the fabric of reality to make sure that in the end, you come out on top. Once per long rest, you may choose a creature that attacked you within the last minute. You engage in an intense combat with that creature, killing them. You take 3d10 damage and must proclaim that “It’s just a scratch” or “I certainly gave it my all!”.
