Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

From the shining churches of Pelor to the seedy Lolth worshippers of the Underdark, many religions require a blade in their service. While Paladins act as the champions of their deities divine will, others serve their gods in the shadows, doing whatever is necessary for their gods goals. These individuals, cleanse the world of any affront to their gods and in so doing become holy blades within the darkness.

Blessed Blades

3rd-level Absolutioner feature

Your religious fervor and devotion echo in your most potent strikes. Whenever you deal sneak attack damage, you may choose to deal that damage as radiant or necrotic damage you choose the type of damage when you gain this feature.

Necrotic

The damage you deal with Blessed Blades is necrotic.

Radiant

The damage you deal with Blessed Blades is radiant.

Eyes of the Devoted

3rd-level Absolutioner feature

You are trained in the art of hunting down the enemies of your god and as such have developed a keen sense for finding them wherever they may be. You may use your action to cast the spell Detect Evil and Good without the use of components.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Sanctity of Faith

9th-level Absolutioner feature

Your mission is one blessed by the gods and this is reflected in your words and deeds. You can cast the Bless spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a short rest. In addition, you can use the bonus action granted by your Cunning Action to cast this Spell. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.

Divine Protection

13th-level Absolutioner feature

At 13th level creatures touched by your blades succumb to divine influence and find it harder to strike back. As a reaction, when an attack roll is made against you by a creature you have damaged with your Blessed Blades class feature, you may use your reaction to have the attack be rolled at disadvantage

Retribution of the Blade

17th-level Absolutioner feature

You have become your god's sharpest blade and gained the following benefits:

  • When you attack a creature, if the target is an Abberation, Celestial, Fiend, or Undead; your Sneak Attack damage against that creature increases by 3d6.
  • You gain access to the searing smite, thunderous smite, wrathful smite, branding smite, blinding smite, staggering smite, and banishing smite spells. Once a spell has been cast, you cannot cast it again until you finish a long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
