I'm hoping that the reason it's taking so long is that they're just busy but really, it's much easier than taking a PDF off a site, it's changing a few bits of text here and there. I mean, it'd take me all of a half a day to do it.
From a marketing POV it would be another big reason why people would purchase the Beyond electronic documents; you are guaranteed to have the latest version. Definitely better than carrying printed sheets of errata or separate PDFs that you have to check in the middle of a game.
But I think Curse is really focusing on the app at the moment, so I don't fault them for making this a lower priority.
Ok, update on this - I am currently working through all of the officially published errata documents from Wizards of the Coast and comparing to what we have on D&D Beyond.
This is creating a "to do list" which I and the other moderators can start work on in the next few days.
I'll post an update when we start making changes and again when it's done.

You are a scholar and a rockstar! Much love for the mods!

This kind of responsiveness from developers of anything is awesome. Keep up the good work!
So, moderators have access to the inner workings of the site to the point where they're allowed to edit code? That seems... very trusting.
Give me access and I'll have all that errata incorporated within a few hours.
Don't you trust me? *evil DM smile*
One of the reasons it's taken so long is that we had to go through training with Badeye to understand how some of the backend works, be under NDAs, and quadruple check everything before hitting save. Plus, having the mods help with typos and minor updates free the staff up to actually do all those super fun exciting things which Badeye promised on the stream. :)
No problem, but as I say - it's a team effort - I am not the only moderator working on this - I'm just the guy posting about it.
Filcat, Firehawk, Sorce, Sedge and SubsistCyber are all doing amazing work too.
I discovered that it's not easy to find all of the latest errata documents in one place, so hopefully this pinned post will be useful to all of you as well.

The Sage Advice Compendium has a static link and the linked file is updated generally once a month. On the very first page of the SAC, are links to all current errata documents.
As the subject line says, it would be one of the prime benefits of D&D Beyond!!

The Curse team are working with Wizards of the Coast on this.
Unfortunately, it's not just as simple as taking the PDF off the website.

Thanks for the quick response and that the developers are looking into it.
