I just created a "Quick Built" 8th level wild elf cleric (allowing feats), and the AI shows "Svirfneblin Magic" as a feat. Gnomish ancestry magic for my wild elf? ;)
Hello! I've also noticed that money doesn't seem to calculate in encumbrance on the character sheet, just equipment. Or did I miss a setting somewhere?
Forgive me if this has been mentioned once or more, but when looking at monster listings, I would love to be able to jump to the place in the Monster Manual, source book, or adventure where the full listing with the flavor text can be found. I always find it exceptionally helpful for running the monsters. (Also, I know Strahd has some conditional abilities that aren't listed in his monster listing, such as the ability to summon creatures when away from his lair.)

It's been mentioned, but not nearly often enough.

No need to shout it from the rooftops - this will come soon. Thanks!
Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the Protector Aasimar racial trait, Radiant Soul, appears on the character sheet at levels 1 and 2, even though it's supposed to only start at level 3.
Awesome! By sharing, do you mean I could "share" (link?) my character to friends so they can see the interface (phone and web? do the same thing I can?). Some of my friends do not have accounts and this may get them on board. Thanks!
What I think would be nice is two pages a complete character traits list (shows you everything about your character and I mean everything.) I feel like the current format is this complete character list (includes details that everyone might not use or want to see, but should be there for looking up in greater depth occasionally). I think this should be coupled with a customized viewing mode with much less information, but the key feature I would like is a hide button that allows you to select which things to hide and which things to show up in the viewer. The hidden materials can be found again and you can shut off the hide feature so they reappear in the viewer. I am thinking of programs in the adobe suite that allow you to hide certain features and then make them reappear by clicking a few buttons. I would like the flexibility of choosing which things I want to show up on my character sheets. Maybe I have a player who doesn't want space wasted on notes or descriptionand wants to hide those for the most part. I just see the notes and description sections being something that me or my players would rarely ever have to look at. They would be fine having to go through 2-3 pages to access this because not very often do you need to know your age or height etc.. atleast with the way I play. It could even be something so simple as a button in the top corner that says "Show all hidden" as you click it toggles to "Hide Selection." I like the idea of flexibility since each person may have different opinions on what is useful to appear on screen. I think like many others the goal is to get rid of distractions and keep important and useful stuff present.
Secondly it would be nice to have filters for prepared spells. As you get to higher levels and have a ton of prepared spells it would be nice to be able to filter through those by level and names like the known spells section currently allows.
Third, Chi points? Are you developing a way to keep track of monk bonus actions they can take with their chi points? I would think it would be build similar as the spells, but just a new box filled with these types of things. If you are planning on making the mystic an option there would need to be some sort of new point based module to not only keep track of points but to showcase all the different options of ways to spend psionic points or chi points. Is this being taken into consideration?
Maybe many of these things have already been addressed if so sorry for re-asking....
Can the material components that have a gold value be added to spells when they're on the character sheet? I need to be reminded when I need a certain component, it's in the regular spell listing but it doesn't show on the sheet for some reason. Thanks.
I wanted to say this too. It would be nice if I could see the material components required when picking spells and looking at the spell in the character sheet. When making a character I couldn't tell that some of the spells I chose needed specific components. I saw it later looking through the spells listing. It was kind of frustrating to find out that a spell I thought I could use starting would have to wait until gaining the component in an adventure. Just a request.
I love the character builder and sheet. On a computer it is well organized, looks, and functions great. I like the mobile format as well. One thing that I would like to see for the character sheet in the mobile view is for all the sections to be loaded. It would be nice if I could save the page for offline use and access the entire thing. Right now it only can show the section that was displayed when saved offline. I pretty sure that this will be taken care of for the app but an offline page would be great just for looking at until the app is released. Thanks for the hard work to make such a great product.

What would be very nice its when you chose spell and decide to learn them you should have a place in the spell description, with the component list that auto checking in your inventory for material component and can say if you have the specific component needed to cast the spell in your inventory like put in green the composent you have and the missing component are in red .... that would be very nice ....too it could also block the casting spell if missing any of the material component ( that option should be made when you create your character to activate it or not ) for those you dont play hardcore with material component too
Page references for skills, monsters, spells, equipment, etc.
I agree with the first. I've always used custom races, since 1E. At a minimum, I do things like "elves get proficiency with rapier, not longsword because elven dexterity."
For the second point, I actually dislike the current Compendium break down by book. I just want to see everything integrated without me having to remember where that odd subclass was. That's a Compendium comment, though. For the Character Builder, I'm neutral, but could definitely see the benefit. The ideal might be that the page reference shows on a PDF, but the digital sheet just clicks through.
The main reason I want references, is that when i'm playing in person, people want the book source, and currently, it is a pain to "cross-reference" such things, I've also had players question rules, and say "we use the books" when I show them dndb (so add rules to the page references request!)
is there an eta to when the character builder will allow you access to all of the character options ? feats warlock pact etc? it does not seem a good investment until you can you know make a character :)

All the character options are already available. Most of them need to be unlocked with a purchase from the marketplace.

Wait, they disregard your use of the site even though the rules on here come directly from and are exactly the same as the ones in the books?

Considering that this service will have all errata and updates before any other, it is way more likely that this system will be official and correct than the books. (another awesome perk)

Interesting, it should have a weight.

It definitely does, but I noticed when I added in all my coin (which was significant) it didn't change on the sheet.

2 things i feel are required:
