I am trying to make a weretiger character but i cant figure out how to in the dnd beyond character generator. i cant find any instructions in the faq or searching google. is it not possible?
I've cobbled together a feat for the Wererat (because one of my players got afflicted.) I've just published it for public viewing, let me know what you think. Here's a couple of things I know aren't working correctly due to the nature of Homebrew building as it stands:
The Bite Natural Weapon uses DEX as the base stat currently for the Attack action. The full description (as an Action) pulls the higher of DEX/STR, so that's best used when in-game. (It's not possible to have the Attack choose automatically at the moment - if it becomes possible, I'll edit it.)
Also - and this is mentioned in the description - RAW gives PCs damage immunities, just like werecreatures have. I've built this feat with Resistance instead, because non-magical immunities are a challenge for players to overcome, but can completely derail a BBEG. A fellow GM pointed that a Dragon's Claw and Tail attacks would have no effect on a werecreature, which would lead to some awkward situations. Resistance puts it more in line with other PC abilities, such as the Barbarian's Rage.
If you like it, and it works for you, I'll see if I can make some more for the other werecreatures. Since there's no duplicate option for homebrew feats, it takes a while to copy all the base stuff over, but it hold all the features of the curse in one easy-to-add feat.
Edit to add:
Forgot to mention: it includes a Wildshape option for the Giant Rat; this is primarily for the speed, attack, and size stats which are affected by shifting. You still use your on HP and other stats.
I cant seem to find it, I'm joining a group in a couple days and the dm said that I can be a werewolf as long as I have a solid way of doing so, do you have any more instruction on were to find it. thank you for your time

The workaround to do it is to homebrew a magic item, which gives the benefits of the lycanthropy.
Alternatively you can homebrew a variant of your lycanthrope's race. You can include most of those features within a homebrew race.

Though if they did add something like custom afflictions etc, that would be cool

Thank you for replies. Its a shame it cant be something that is just clicked on with the races section...
any chance this has been added and i just missed it?
I just want to tell everyone "happy gaming" and actually mean it. Whatever your game is, just have fun with it, it is after all, just a game.
No, though I would now say that currently the best way to add Lycanthropy to a character would be via a homebrew feat.

Hi All,

Edit to update:
Feat got removed as it replicates a Curse.
I made a Wrist Dagger, people seem to like it.
While replicating these rules for private use is fine. Publishing this particular feat for public use is not allowed.
Please observe the rules on publishing before pushing anything to public use please

i do, if you look for ring of lycanthropy with the homebrew content enabled then the ring will come up
Two years ago, might I mention
Pity dnd beyond staff can comment about following the rules but can't read about what would help improve their services for the players.
I cant seem to find it, I'm joining a group in a couple days and the dm said that I can be a werewolf as long as I have a solid way of doing so, do you have any more instruction on were to find it. thank you for your time
