I hope the pink dice isn't part of some future marketing ploy for "women's D&D accessories" like they try with everything from pencils to razors and whatever else -_-
I am thinking the pink dice set is going to be similar to the green one coming out later this month. Maybe with some other product down the line? Or maybe alongside the green one? Dunno..
I might be the only person to not be excited about the announcement.
Nope. Not at all. The next product I'll get excited about will be the next one that isn't set in the Realms, detailing the Realms, or named after someone/something from the Realms. I'm done converting.

I'm neutral on it. I'd rather have had a guide to the multiverse. Not much listed in Xanathar's is of interest except the archetypes, and most of them won't be much changed from the UA version. I'd care more about more races, or nearly anything else.
While the Xanathar's Book on Everything will be FR based, I am hoping is will more like the Volo's Guide than Sword Coast Adventures Guide.
If it's strongly FR based, I won't buy it. I'm tired of FR.
FR is the main world, more's the pity. I miss Greyahwk so much and hate to see it's iconic stories being transplanted into FR.
Take your feelings out of it, the FR is the new default setting, its a vastly popular setting, more so than Greyhawk ever was. I keep hearing the same argument over and over again, "I miss Grayhwk". Then run it in your own Greyhwk setting! WotC is a company, and they are going to use their most popular setting.
I'm not sure that Forgotten Realms is the most popular setting. It might actually be Eberron, and not only because it is the one I have seen requested and discussed most on these forums. I don't personally know anyone that plays in the FR setting, but I know three that use the Eberron setting. It seems to me that most of the DM's I encounter seem to play in their own homebrew settings.
Is there a Poll or something somewhere on here for that?

Just because you can't see the planet Saturn with the naked eye does not mean it does not exist.
FR is certifiably the most popular D&D setting, if it weren't WotC would not be capitalizing on it so extensively. Eberron and Greyhawk are popular, but not enough to be the DEFAULTcampaign setting, unfortunately.
A poll on this forum will not count as evidence my friend, this community is a fraction of the greater world ;-)

So something I found out: the Mummified Yuan Ti we have seen on some of the promo art is actually Ras Nsi.

Also Ras being alive implies Mezro is still in existence. Since it was said the barae would crumble to dust if the city were ever destroyed.
