New version (v0.10.0) with a small feature that will be expanded. I saw some requests on forum for tooltips/references on adventure maps. So I started doing them.
On this first iteration I made it for the maps of "Lost Mine of Phandelver" including the one in the introduction and one map from "Hoard of the Dragon Queen" (the one from ch. 3).
I will not add images/video right now because there is not a free adventure on DDB. If any mod think it is ok to add just give me a shout out (I would add with spoiler warning just to be sure).
Also I plan on the next days add all the maps for other adventures too. Just need to orchestrate it with my wife and some friends to not take spoilers from every adventure XD (a couple of them I plan to play and not DM).
Feel free to test this new feature and give some feedback, I did not have the time to test it 100%.

Btw this is not the big announcement.
Enjoy!
So hoping you could do this for the dm version of the chult Map!
I was prepping an adventure the other night and went to copy a heading to make a.direct link and I saw you icon pop up! OMFG, I missed when you added this (and I'm subscribed to this thread). So helpful! When can I get chrome add o on mobile, please google?

Thanks for the feedback! It was out a couple of versions ago, indeed it is quite useful for posting on forum and preparing adventure sessions. The cool part is that the simple link works wherever accepts rich text. So on google drive, gmail, onenote it is pasted as a link to DDB.
I really appreciate the ability to copy urls for subsections of the compendiums. I discovered, today, though, that there are some places where that function doesn't work: the image/icon appears when hovering over the title, and it's clickable, but when nothing pastes. The two examples I found were in Appendix B of Tomb of Annihilation, Under Wilderness encouters: the headers/titles for Caches and Treasure Drops.

You are correct, I will take a look at it.
edit: this bug was added on v0.10.1, avoiding the copy of map links I ended up excluding too many things from copy. The fix will be out on the next version probably tomorrow.
Cool. Thanks! Every time I use one of Beyond Help's features, I find myself wishing it worked on mobile. (Nothing you can do about that, I know). I prep on my laptop but use my iPad at the table. Still, Beyond Help makes prep so much easier, and once made the links work on my iPad.
If your iPad has enough power you can cheat by getting chrome remote desktop and remoting into your machine. It's what I do.
Interesting idea. My guess is that my iPad is too old, and the wifi at the library where I play probably doesn't have the bandwidth to handle remoting at a decent speed. Just accessing DDB on my iPad is sometime excruciatingly slow.
Map refs for "Princes of the apocalypse"!!!! Shout out to AdventureFight, can you check if they are ok or if I missed possible refs?
I'll take a deeper look at it when I get a chance, but at a glance, this is great! I especially love the globe icons that let you jump straight to the map instead of just the section.
New type of map references for "Lost Mine of Phandelver" with the description of treasure/objects/characteristics of rooms. Now there are three types:
rectangular: main area/room description;
circle: reference to another map;
diamond shape: extra info about area/room.
Tooltip links on table of contents of supported adventures (missing 4 now) to all adventure maps;
Options to turn on/off most of map related features. So if you dislike map links on menus, toc or headers it is possible to remove them or remove the mouse over tooltip, the same for the three types of map references;
You map references are great. I noticed them last weekend while finishing MoP and I have to say that this is a feature which should been integrated by DDB from day 1.

Thanks for the feedback! Also if you find any mistake or possible missing reference just tell me.
You guys seem to be getting close to the killer app for D&D Beyond here. Enjoying the functionality quite a bit
Thanks for the feedback! We will get there, stay tuned. =}

This is a fantastic feature. Can't wait until you get to Princes of the Apocalypse!
