This may have already been answered elsewhere, but haven't found it:
You'd mentioned in one of the releases that a la carte purchases would be counted toward whole purchase price on the books (example: pay for individual spells now, then then pay difference on whole book later). What if you purchase books included in a bundle - could what you paid toward the books similarly be counted toward the bundle cost later?
Yes you can. The books you purchase now will be converted in credit later for a bundle.

So, I am not sure if this has been covered elsewhere (though I did read all the way through this thread). But, is there any consideration being given to actually give us the digital content rather than just giving us access to it? As it sits now, Twitch may at anytime and for any or no reason revoke our access to the content by shutting down our account. This worries me a bit. In the past, I lost a Twitch account to someone gaining access to my account and somehow getting it auto-shut down. I mean, in that case, it's not as big a deal; I just make a new account and have had it for a long time without issue. But it is well within the realm of possibility for something similar to happen again and boom, that's it. A new account doesn't get me my digital content back since it was never mine to begin with, it is really still in the hands of Twitch/DnDbeyond.
Has there been any discussion of concessions in those cases or is it as clear and explicit as it states in the legal mumbo jumbo that once Twitch decides your out, your out: period?

I would also love to know the answer to this, even though I'm not sure this post is in the correct forum.
Twitch can suspend or ban accounts for many reasons, and not all are necessary within the realm of control. I recently had my account accidentally disabled during some sort of a back-end server upgrade that Twitch performed. A small percentage of users were affected and I was one of them. It took almost a week to regain access to my Twitch account. Had I for some reason lost access permanently, I'd hate to think that I'd lose access to my D&D Beyond content.
Are there any plans for providing a way to create a local D&D Beyond user account, rather than force users to use Twitch accounts? Or at the very least, is there a backdoor mechanism for D&D Beyond tech support to restore access to the purchased content, should a person's Twitch account become unusable?
The staff will be the authority on this, as they control these methods. However, I am aware that the Twitch account is merged in with a local D&D Beyond account, which can be un-merged. This would tell me that the D&D Beyond account is a separate entity than Twitch and can likely be recovered or associated with a new Twitch account if the need arose.
At the end of the day, D&D Beyond maintains its own database of username accounts, separate from Twitch. I'm certain the support team could assist if said situation were to happen.
I've been looking over which monster and magic item bundles from the adventures to purchase, and I've noticed that Tales from the Yawning Portal is lacking such bundles at the moment, unlike all the other adventures. I see that the individual adventures within the book are available for purchase separately; does this somehow preclude the monsters and magic items from individual or bundled sale? Or was that just (understandably) overlooked in the run-up to launch?

It's a bit strange the way the TftYP bundles need to work in order to grant access to the separate adventures within the source.
We are working to figure out how to offer the monsters/ items bundles for the whole source and hope to have something in place soon.
I've posted elsewhere, but I'll post here: Any chance the character options from adventures could be offered as a purchase, perhaps as part of the magic items bundles (e.g., Haunted One Background from CoS)?
I'm sure this has been asked before, but I feel I'm just missing the thread or post that has the answer...
Is there a way to gift content to another person or account currently? I went through the process of adding a bundle to my cart and got all the way to the point of putting in payment information without seeing any option to do so.

Not currently, but many requested this.
Thank you for the quick reply! I'm pretty sure I was just using the search function wrong, so I couldn't find any relevant posts.
If I purchase the compendium content for an adventure book, will there be a printable PDF view? Sometimes it's easier to have a few tabs in a printout than to flip between pages online.
Or is this an obvious no-go? I could see it being a major licensing problem - re controlling the use of these hard-copies.
By the way - thank you so much for all the effort here! This is a great tool and is already improving my group's game!

Any chance of extending the founder's week sale to two weeks? I will miss this sale by three days, can't even pay attention till the 24th I'm so broke.

No, unfortunately a PDF is not an option.
Makes sense. Thanks for the quick reply!
Even though there is no official PDF option the adventure compendium pages can be printed to PDF. I converted a couple chapters to PDF and the output isn't bad if you are looking for an offline option.
Not at at launch, but soon after. Our priorities for this week (starting Wednesday) are the Backgrounds revamp, familiars/companions/wild shape, and then some of the layout changes we have mentioned for the builder and sheet. Those won't all be done this week, but that will be the order we tackle them.
I have the Master Tier subscription and purchased the three core books.
I invited my players to re-create their characters in my home brew campaign section. One of the players said he is being asked to purchase content to use his cleric domain. I thought the whole purpose of Master Tier was to allow your players access to all the content you bought. I bought the three core books, so they should have access to this domain from the PHB.
Are they doing something wrong? I can't currently observe this content as the players do, only from my account which has full access.
