OOC: My bad, I thought the sound is coming from outside my cell.
Strength check to break the chains: 9
"What the hell are you doing, mate? You should rather try to help and escape."
You pull with all your might against the burning silver, but the design has made them strong, they are tight enough you can't get a good angle, and you are still weak from the beating. Eventually you are forced to give in, defeated by the blasted bindings.
Seeing Kinshra trying to mess with her shackles Nora would like to also try.
Slight of Hand: 24
Nora, you slip your hands out of the cuffs with surprising ease. He t seems that the combination of your smaller frame, and Hedrick seemingly putting the restraints less tight than the other guards, worked in your favor.
OOC: I would like to give Balasar and Vulgrim a chance to respond before we go too much farther, I am planning on notifying them. Just so you guys know.

"What the hell are you doing, mate? You should rather try to help and escape."
Vulgrim pauses mid tune and cocks his head in the direction of the figure pulling at his chains.
"So you are alive then" he says chuckling to himself "well this will make things interesting"
He watches for a moment "you may be strong friend but these chains are made to hold stronger than you"
"Perhaps a little leverage is the advantage we need"
Vulgrim looks around for a sharp rock to wedge between the chain loop that hold me to the wall. I would like to find 2 and throw 1 to keeneye.
"Here big fellow, lets see what you can do with that"
Vulgrim picks up the tune where he left off as he goes to work on the chains
I'll say make an perception check, you'll need to ring rocks that have been chiseled down enough, you can smack them into shape yourself, but that will make noise. After that, Strength check to pry off the loop.

You manage to find one rock the shape you want, but as you go to pry the chains from the wall, the fixture doesn't want to budge, and the rock breaks In two, erosion clearly having effected it.
Vulgrim clicks his tongue frowning looking at the shattered stone in his hand. "well i suppose that is the most i could have hoped for"
OOC: can i look around the cell for anything else i may use to break/escape my bonds? perhaps the recent guards forgot something in the cell i could use? is there any light (window?, oil lamp?) Also can i reach Keeneye?

Balasar would do his ritual prayer to Isran. A mix of Tai-Chi or Yoga with a sword, in this case it would be an "air" sword.
"Many blessing Hevrik." Balasar gives him a nod as he begins tearing into his 'mush'. He knew he would need it for his strength, he's been conserving his strength for many days now.
After Hevrik leaves, Balasar will move to the center of his cell and sit cross legged. Closing his eyes he begins a prayer to Isran, in his ancient dragon speech.
May you bless upon me the strength of your hammer, the protection of your plate, and the knowledge of battle. May your hammer break my chains so that I can save those whom cannot save themselves. So that by your hand I can bring justice to this land.
After praying to his god Balasar wants to try and break his chains. 7 (+5 if I use Strength, but if I can use Athletics it would be a +7. DM's choice.)

Investigation check, and yes, but you can't get out the door, which is locked. Dim light.

Strength, and you pull against the silver with all your might, but it doesn't budge.
After a few vain minutes of trying to break the chains, you hear a heavy clunk as the lock on the cell door unlatches. In walks an older hobgoblin guard carrying two bowls. "Nice melody," he says as he places one down in front of Vulgrim. You know this man to be Hevrik, who has always apreciated your music.
After that, he cautiously moves to Keeneye, aware of your disdain for his kind. He sets the bowl down. "I'm sorry about what my comrades did to you today," he mutters. Seeing your bruises and whip lashings, he pulls out a small wad of cloth. "It's not much, but it should help stop the bleeding, if there is any." He lays the cloth next too the bowl. He heads back towards the door, but turns before he leaves. Sighing, you here him whisper, "I wish I could do more."

"You can" Vulgrim says over the bowl as he takes a sniff of the contents, screws his nose and takes a massive swig of the broth. He continues with a full mouth "whenever in life you wish to do something than you should just do it - life is much more interesting that way"
Swallowing he wipes his mouth before continuing. "You see ah" he clicks his fingers searching for the mans name "Hedwig, Hemlik ah... wait i know this ah Hevrik!, Hevrik thats it isnt it?" Without waiting for an answer he continues. "You are no better than the monsters you call comrades who beat this poor Goliath if you just sit and watch" he indicates the cloth "whats the point of stopping the bleeding? They will just return tomorrow, the day after and the day after that" takes another swig of the broth "don't fool yourself in thinking you are helping - it would be a better mercy to let him bleed out and die"
Polishing off the bowl Vulgrim taps it on the ground lightly to get a feel for its weight and material and then he holds it out to Hevrik. "Well you may as well do something useful and take this with you"
OOC: ok so Vulgrim i am assuming has tried convincing Hevrik to help before and now he is attempting to be a little more blunt than usual to see if that triggers a reaction.

"All right let's try your way" Keeneye says, and starts looking for some rock as well, or some tool that could help. Investigation: 19
As he hears the opening sound, he hides his intentions and emotions. All the pain and fear that is swirling in his stomach reminds him of the huntings he used to lead. But as the kind words reach his ears, he turns to the hobgoblin also with a calm tone. "Thank you." He takes the cloths, and tries to apply it on the wounds to stop the bleeding, and to cover the wounds. Medicine: 10
"This fellow is right. You seem better than the others. Are you also more of a slave of theirs?"
