Springing White Tiger
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can spend a Ki point to commune with your white tiger spirit for up to 1 hour.
While in this commune you grow white body hair with stripes, and you and you gain the following features:
- Your teeth and nails grow sharper and harder, turning them into Fangs and Claws that deal piercing or slashing damage, offering new damage type choices for your unarmed strikes.
- Keen Smell. You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.
- Pounce. If you move at least 20 feet towards a creature that hasn’t taken a turn in the combat yet, and then hits it with an attack on the same turn, the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. The DC for this save is = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strenght modifier.
You can suppress the white tiger stance before it fades by spending another Ki point
Stalking White Tiger
At the 6th level, your bound with your White Tiger spirit is improved, giving you access to the following benefits:
- The All-Seeing White Tiger. You eyes turn into yellow catlike eyes and you begin to see in the dark. You can spend 3 ki points to cast Darkvision as an action, but only on yourself.
- You can add your Wisdom modifier as a bonus to your Dexterity (Stealth) checks.
White Soul Tiger
You gain the ability to summon a spirit that assumes the form of a white spectral tiger
Twice per long rest, you call forward the White Soul Tiger. This spirit is loyal to you and will fight on your side.
The White Soul Tiger dessapears when it reaches 0 hit points.
Also while the White Soul TIger is within 100 feet of you, you can communicate with it telepathically. Additionally, as an action, you can see through your white tiger's eyes and hear what it hears until the start of your next turn, gaining the benefits of any Special Senses that the tiger has. During this time, you are deaf and blind with regard to your own Senses.
Fight as One
Beginning at 17th level, twice per long rest, you can assume a hybrid form of a white Weretiger.
While you are transformed, the following rules apply:
- You can use all your monk features while transformed, all the Weretiger weapons are considered unarmed strikes for you.
- Your game statistics are replaced by the statistics of the Weretiger, but you retain your alignment, personality, and Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. You also retain all of your skill and saving throw proficiencies, in addition to gaining those of the creature. If the Weretiger has the same proficiency as you and the bonus in its stat block is higher than yours, use the Weretiger’s bonus instead of yours
- When you transform, you assume the Weretiger’s hit points and Hit Dice. When you revert to your normal form, you return to the number of hit points you had before you transformed. However, if you revert as a result of dropping to 0 hit points, any excess damage carries over to your normal form. For example, if you take 10 damage in animal form and have only 1 hit point left, you revert and take 9 damage. As long as the excess damage doesn’t reduce your normal form to 0 hit points, you aren’t knocked unconscious.
- You retain the benefit of any features from your class, race, or other source and can use them. However, you can’t use any of your special senses, such as darkvision, unless your new form also has that sense.
- Your equipment is worn by your new form. Worn equipment functions as normal. Your equipment doesn’t change size or shape to match the new form.
