You gain the following benefits.
Ability Score Increase. Increase your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 30.

Posted Oct 7, 2024This doesn't really seem that powerful to me. Does anyone else have any thoughts?

Posted Oct 24, 2024Yeah, this is pretty lacking. This is the only boon that has a "benefit" beyond score improvement that has no guarantee of ever working.

Posted Jan 27, 2025I guess it would be good for a paladin, ranger, arcane trickster, or eldritch knight? It seems kind of underwhelming but most/all of your spells would be 1st-4th level. I wonder if this would actually benefit regular divine smite...

Posted Jul 12, 2025This should be:
Ability Score Increase. Increase your Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma score by 1 to a maximum of 30.
Free Casting. Choose 4 spells between 1st - 4th Level from a class you have levels in and appropriate spell slots for. They do not cost a spell slot to cast with this feat.

Posted Mar 9, 2026For a 19th-level spellcaster with 13 spell slots from1st to 4th, you gain an average of 4-5 spell slots per long rest, sometimes as high as 10, other times as low as 0. Arcane Recovery for Wizards would allow you to gain more.

Posted May 3, 2026I guess warlocks can just suffer
Honestly, it should've just been Spell Mastery from 2014 rules

Posted Aug 22, 2026Yeah weirdly seems like a design to prevent warlocks getting more pact slot usages (at 19th level their pact slots scale to 5th level by Warlock Level 9 so this would actually be unusable by then without a multiclass).

Posted Aug 23, 2026Most warlocks would end up choosing hex anyway, so it wouldn't really matter. Also, they gave us Magical Cunning, so I don't think they don't want us to get more out of pact magic. I think they just forgot how warlocks work with this.
