UPDATE: Success! With some help from a generous stranger :)
Does anyone have a 2019 UA Artificer Alchemist character that that would be willing to share with me.
I believe this could be done by copying your character. Placing it in a game that both of us were in. Unassigning the character. Then I could take it.
I wanted to have it so I could do some comparison testing to the new official one that I recently purchased on here.
Please PM me for a campaign I can provide for the unnasigned character sheet. race and level don't matter so long (minimum 3) as it is has the alchemist subclass selected.
What are you hoping to test? I don't know if that workaround is valid, but the documentation exists just fine, and trust me - most anyone in here remembers the 2019 UA Alchemist and how it was good, instead of the Eberron Rising alchemist being very bad.
I wanted to do a gameplay test using the character sheet and the beyond20 integration for roll20. It’s more fun being able to click the sheet for macros. Also I’d just have one of the character sheets on hand that I could quickly edit.
I have an archived copy of the UA Alchemist. I'm not really keen on giving away my characters to total strangers, but I suppose I could copy and sanitize. It is a low-level version however, and archived sheets don't allow for leveling up archived content, if I recall.

I thank you. Sanitized copy works for me. I think it will level up as long as it isn’t leveled down, but even if it doesn’t it’s better than nothing.
I never liked it. But. I never like having pet creatures. I do think it should come back in a specific subclass though. It would make a pretty neat subclass to focus in on.
Or they could bring it back for the Alchemist. and then make some other version of it. but in 5E and recent dnd editions I never felt like Homoculus were Alchemy and felt more magic crafty...
So. Either bringing back the homculus for the Alchemist. or give it to a new subclass something like Enchanter. and then open it up so you can make say a Puppet Master style, or a grown clone style, or a monter maker etc.
Enchanter and Alchemist could have a lot of overlap, could just shift the current alchemist into an enchanter by making the Elixirs into runic sigil stones or just runes you put in someone and they activate. Either method would work though.
Historically the creation of a Homunculus was always associated with Alchemy (bezoars and such were required) so it was the only Artificer “pet” that I thought was a requirement.

Thank you for considering!

That would be excellent, I would greatly appreciate that!
This reminds me that I wish the Alchemist Satchel and Elixirs were rolled into one for the offical one.
And the Alchemical Homunculus top.
