I've made a home brew subclass for warlock, and the site insists that its too similar to Circle of spores druid. But the thing is, its said that ever since I wrote a description for the class. I don't want to share too many details, but its called Seeker of IT. It has to do with music and supporting team mates. So I've got no idea what the site expects me to do to make it unique enough to submit since its already nothing like circle of spores.
It only does the check to see what it's too close to when you save the homebrew itself (not just features within it).
It shouldn't matter for now anyway because you should really playtest it before publishing - because once it's published it can't be edited - you can only make new versions of it.
Hmmm, I didn't know that I cant edit it after posting, thanks for that advice. Also I figured out that the site is just weird and always says my ideas are too similar to circle of spores until I change the title for some reason.
What do you think is the best method for playtesting my ideas?
It only checks those compliances when you save using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under Basic Information. (That’s why changing the name works.)
Any and all homebrews in your “Homebrew Collection” are automatically shared with everyone in a DDB campaign with you. Everyone you play with can create a character using that Homebrew as long as they create it in the campaign you are in.
