beside the fact that the 2 spell from the house are wrong, and there is no way to modify them (unless i rewrite the whole subrace from scratch, a thing i actually not going to do, too much time consuming), i have found that the tool gives me 3 prepared spells, when i have 16 INT (hence 3 spells) + 1 spell due to the half level (minimum of 1) definition of the class
basically i should be able to prepare 4 spell
why the tool gives me just 3 ? where i am doing wrong ?
this should be going in the eberron bug thread. sorry
So this is a little confusing in how the feature is presented in the text. Here is the relevant text:
When you do so, choose a number of artificer spells equal to your Intelligence modifier + half your artificer level, rounded down (minimum of one spell)
What it means is you will add your INT modifier + 1/2 your Artificer level (rounded down) for a minimum of one spell chosen (not a minimum of 1 for ½ of the Artificer level). This becomes relevant if you have an Artificer with a negative INT modifier (ie -1), because then that would mean you couldn't choose any spells at level 1 (as ½ rounded down is 0, and with a negative modifier, you would not be able to prepare/learn a spell). Another example is if you have a level 2 Artificer with a (-2) INT modifier, you would not be able to prepare spells as it would be -2 (INT mod) +1(½ of artificer level).

Hope that makes sense!
Except it specifically says minimum of one spell, so even If you have a negative modifier, you don't choose 0 spells, you choose 1 as per the minimum.

Hi there, i have created a house d'cannith artificer for my eberron campaign
