I'm fairly new to DND Beyond. Recently leveled up in my campaign so I changed level, but only gave me two hit points rather than rolling or taking average. And, I did not see where any additional features were added. For example, I'm a split class paladin/warlock and leveled up to LV 3 in my warlock class. Supposed to choose my boon pact, but didn't see it anywhere and couldn't tell if new spells were added. Any help would be appreciated.
Just because your character has gained a level, that is not automatically reflected as a class level since the system has no idea in which class you gained your level. Since it doesn’t know what class leveled, it doesn’t know what hit die to use either.
On you character sheet you must hit the little arrow next to your PC’s name to make the sidebar slide out, and from there you can tell it you want to edit your character. Once in the character builder, you must go to the “class” tab to actively level up one of your classes which is also where those additional features (like your pact boon) can be selected.
As for your HP, on the “home” tab of your character builder you must choose “fixed” or “manual” HP. If you pick “fixed” it will automatically give you the average HP for your levels including the bonuses from your Con mod. If you picked “manual” then you will have to roll HP and add the number rolled to your character sheet on the “Class” tab, the system will automatically add the bonus from your Con mod so you don’t have to. That was probably the 2 HP you mentioned.
This is not working for me. I have fixed hp selected but when I manage level up to 2 it still has HP at level one. I have no idea how to fix this.
Are you using XP leveling? You'll need to 1) make sure you have enough XP to be Level 2, 2) level up in your class by clicking the dropdown in the Character Builder next to your class and change it from 1 to 2.
I'm the DM and it's affecting multiple of my players characters. Below are the links. I'm using Milestone, and it's set to fixed but not updating. Oddly the hit dice increased but the HP did not.
Not sure if you saw my response below, but here it is again:

You've entered 10 into the 'Override HP' field for both characters. This means that regardless of what their Fixed HP is calculated to be, they'll never have more than 10 hit points (because that's what you've told the character sheet to override it to).
I've removed that from both sheets, they now have 17 hit points each, as would be expected from characters at level 2 using fixed hit points with a con of +2
Thank you! New to DND Beyond so trying to figure it out. They had a scroll of aid that added 5 HP and I think I did it wrong messing with the HP override, I should have just had them use temp hp for 8 hours.
For that, you'd have wanted to click their health in the character sheet, then in the 'Max Hp Modifier' typed 5. As long as that value remains there, their max hp would be increased by 5

Can you please link to the affected character?

Make absolutely sure those 2 characters are using Fixed HP in their HOME | Preferences. You may possibly need to switch from Fixed to Manual and back.

They are fixed. Tried switching to manual and back to fixed but it didn't work.
