There is a major hole in the D&D website that i would like to discuss. I bought D&D books at the Beyond store and now i want to use the infomation in the books online because i use the character builder on this website but it does not all the infomation i need but there is in my books. It says to get all the infomation buy the books. But I already have. I have found out that you can't use a redeem code to but the infomation from my books to the website. And i also realized thatsomeone put this same complaint in mfuve years ago and they have done nothing to help us. SO please change it so we can get the infomation from our paper books to this website.
You can view any of the Races, Classes, Feats, etc. in their entirety by clicking on the “Game Rules” button at the top of the screen. You can also view any of the Sourcebooks in their entirety by clicking “Sources” (right next to “Game Rules”).
You can also view all of that offline as well by downloading the DDB app and then downloading your purchases material to your device.
Additionally, on the character sheets themselves you can click on any of the abridged descriptions and the full description will become available to view in the sidebar.
You can literally view everything in multiple ways.
D&D Beyond is a licensed partner of Wizards of the Coast, but part of entirely separate company. It's also important to note that the D&D Beyond store sells both the game compendium in digital format, as well as the official digital toolset for Dungeons & Dragons, but does not sell physical copies of D&D books; the books you've purchased have come from some other retailer.
Everything that is part of the Basic Rules is available to use, for free, on D&D Beyond. As are the Homebrew tools, which allow you to build your own races, subclasses, feats, spells, monsters, and magic items. You can use the homebrew tools to recreate anything yourself that you have in your physical books, with the exception of the Artificer class (the homebrew tools do not currently allow for the creation of entire classes). You also have the ability to buy digital toolset options piecemeal, meaning that if you only want a specific subclass or group of spells, you can pay for only those items. When you do so, the amount you've purchased will be subtracted from the cost of the total book content, if you choose in the future to buy access to the remainder of a book's content!

I’m confused. You say you bought the books at the Beyond store, which only sells digital/online copies, but then you talk about getting your books to the website, which sounds like you bought physical copies of the books from somewhere else which is it?
