Just making a note that the Circlet of Blasting allows the attuned wearer to cast Scorching Ray ... The circlet specifically says you cast it with a +5 Attack Bonus, but the spell shows up in my list under level 2 (and level 3?), with my normal attack bonus of +8.
This still hasn't been fixed. Getting annoying having to remind one of my players each time he uses it when the auto dice rolling uses a '+6' to hit (his current Spell Attack Modifier).
It's still on the list of things to be worked on, the current recommendation would be to customize the attack.
I know you can’t give anything even remotely pretending to resemble anything that might be interpreted as a timeline or ETA or anything, but can you at least let us know if it’s closer to the top, middle, or bottom of that list of things to be worked on?

They have already fixed life domain for example.
I am aware. And they fixed the Favored Enemy stacking bug (not Rogues Expertise though), and something else I can’t remember off the top of my head. But Arenlor is a Moderator (for DDB, but elsewhere, they’re moonlighting in these forums). And considering how many things comprise that list of “old bugs and missing features:”
Actions on Magic Items like this
fully implemented Options on feats to get rid of all the additional variations that had to be created to implement simple feats from the PHB
temporary/modal features like Rage & Bladesinger so we don’t have to keep slapdashing things with Magic Items
A lot of missing features are part of the Generic Features System which they've talked about a good bit in the dev updates recently. However, I cannot speak to where the priority of anything is.

So don’t, just maybe hint a little. Or maybe I ask and you just answer “hot” or “cold.”
They’ve always had those. Besides, the folks who do that are not the folks who take care of stuff like this. Expecting them to is like expecting a muralist to do a structural engineer’s job. (No bueno.)
Well I feel better knowing, we have different frames and colors and backgrounds and such now.
You know the high on the priority list content is getting done first
Now, last year, when I first joined in 2018... It really did get done first. In fact it was done before a lot of the missing content was even printed...
As someone who's worked both in graphic art, coding, and web development. Yes, but no.
Designing them may be an independent team's responsibility, but implementing them into the site's functionality would likely be the same team that would be fixing the functionality of several items and classes that cannot correctly function without the required changes.
So if the dev team is being instructed to prioritize making frames, animations, and background images live before fixing item, class, and user interface issues then it's a case of misaligned priorities from the top down.

It isnt showing at level 3 when I test it, but it does use the highest attack bonus from my spellcasting classes.
Thank you for your report! I am noticing some other things happening with this item as well, I'll put in a ticket.
How do you reset the circlet of blasting? I tried a long rest and the item's menu but it doesn't seem to work.
It recharges "the next dawn", so you need to reset it manually, on the item itself. Just untick the Charges box.

Can't even do that as it is a spell that is not normally available to my player. There is no drop down 'Customise' box.
There is a Manage Custom button on the actions tab.

So I was hoping for a somewhat less ambiguous idea of how many other old bugs and missing features are ahead of this on the docket.

That's nonsense, what are you saying?..... People can't do multiple things?....People can't learn new things?
Let me stop you right there. As someone who has done both of those and much more.
I have done entire wall murals for many years on the side, I also have been a structural Engineer in NYC for many years.
I also was on construction crews and built a few buildings, and many houses.
I also built and worked on cars. I did the mechanical work, and even did the body work shaping the metal for the outer shell.
And yes I have also have done digital art work and have done some programming and modding, and I still do from time to time.
Many people do not have the ability to be creative in artistic ways. But I know of NO Artist that can't do or learn programming.

Fine, your so damned goodX you fix it for them.
