I was explaining my kid to someone who asked in a PM conversation and my post was automatically marked as spam. (Doubtless I tripped a keyword/phrase filter due to the nature of my job.) That’s not really such a big deal though as it has happened a couple times before for various reasons. In the past I was instructed to simply report the post so a Moderator could read it, and decide if it was okay to manually unlock the post. As such I attempted to do the same thing this time again this time. I tapped the [REPORT] button, and in the popup I selected “Other” in the dropdown, and entered the following in the description field:

This PM apparently tripped the automatic spam detector. All it contains is a description of my job in response to someone who asked during a private conversation. (Yup, that’s really my job.) Could someone please be so kind as to unlock it for me?

However, when I attempted to submit the report, the [SUBMIT] button flashed but the report popup stayed on screen and refused to submit. I am using okay he most recent version of Safari on an iPhone 11 running the current version of iOS, and am not running anything that normally might interfere with DDB’s function such as blockers or extensions. I attempted to submit the report using both the Mobile and Desktop versions of the site, and at 75%, 85%, and 100% zoom with no change in outcome.

Update: I was able to report a different PM in the same conversation without issue, but the post I was trying to report will still not submit. 🤷‍♂️
