Thematically I need to change the poison mist innate spell of a yuan-ti to be Shilleigh instead. I cannot figure out how to make this work, is it possible?
You would have to create a homebrew race using the Yuan-ti pureblood as a template and edit the Innate Spellcasting trait by swapping the spells: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/homebrew/creations/create-race) Then you would just have to swap your character’s race from the official Yuan-ti to your alternate version.
