I'm trying to make a magical greatsword that uses charisma as it's modifier instead of strength. If IamSposta sees this, I did brush up on the FAQ this time and tried doing "Modifier: Bonus→Subtype: Magic Item Attack With [Ability]" as a modifier on the weapon itself (which might be the issue here) and it didn't work. It's also unfortunate I can't change the weapon's base damage or adjust it's range, so if there are any secrets in regards to those two things as well, it'd be much appreciated.

I re-saved, removed it from the character's inventory, cleared cookies and refreshed, signed back in, re-equipped and attuned it, still just uses the strength modifier 😔

Okay. How exactly did you set up the Modifier?

Your character’s Str is higher than their Cha. The system automatically defaults to the higher modifier.
