I'm having a problem with the damage bonuses for the weapons for one of the players in a campaign of mine.

They have an 18 strength, so a +4 damage modifier, and of the two weapons I'm looking at, one is a +1 Warhammer, the 2nd is a standard Javelin.

The issue is the Javelin and the 1d8 option for the Warhammer are 2 higher than they should be, offering a +6 and a +7 damage respectively.

Meanwhile the d10 option for the Warhammer is the expected +5.

Can you provide a link to the affected character?

Does the character have the Dueling Fighting Style?

I didn’t write “dual wielding,” I wrote “dueling.”
