Hello, so im trying to create a thiefling warlock lvl 4 and none of my 1st lvl spells show up on character sheet, including spells from my patreon (fiend) and race. The only thing that shows up in 1st lvl spells is disguise self from mask of many faces, what may be causing this weird problem, pls help (link to the sheet: ddb.ac/characters/64308965/sVqCT8)
Warlock works differently from other caster classes. All of your spell slots are the same level - the highest level slot you have access to. As a level 4 Warlock, you have two 2nd-level Pact Magic slots. That's where your 1st-level spells are, except for any spells gained from Invocations that are cast at-will or a limited number of times a day.
Edit: And your racial spell, Hellish Rebuke, is cast at 2nd-level for Tieflings, so that's where you'll find it too.
Oh, yes, and the Expanded Spell List from your Fiend patron isn't granted to you automatically - they're just made available for you to choose from for your known Warlock spells. You can find them in Manage Spells.

Warlocks are an interesting caster class. They only have a handful of pact magic slots, but they regain spent slots on short rests instead of long rests. You just need to read up on them pretty thoroughly to understand what their weirdnesses are. (The same goes for other classes - they all function in slightly different but interesting ways.)

Warlocks aren’t really the best “casters” overall, more like “full caster equivalents.”
it has unfortunately been my experience that some players who approach playing a Warlock as if it were “more like other spellcasters,” occasionally get disheartened because it isn’t and they end up with a low opinion of the class. In actuality they work a lot more like Artificers or Paladins in many ways, but with short rest resource management requirements like Monks.
You know how many Artificers and Paladins tend to have a small handful of spells they generally count on because they rely more on their class features to do the heavy lifting? Then the rest of the spells prepared are often what I refer to as “Swiss army spells” to make sure your 455 is covered just in case? And you know when playing a Paladin you have your spells, but cast them sparingly so as to save the spell slots for Divine Smite?
IMO, Warlocks tend to work best by choosing a couple of Concentration spells to rely on in combat (like hex or darkness to really get solid mileage out of the limited supply of Pact Magic slots, and then I fill out the rest of the spells known with the the stuff I wanna make sure I have to cover my 455. For Warlocks it’s their Pact Boon and Eldritch Invocations that do a lot of their heavy work. If you’re planning on going Hexblade, Pact of the Blade is usually the most synergistic choice. If you wanna get the most Spellcasting you can, Pact of the Tome is the ticket. And if you want the best Companion critter in all of 5e, Pact of e Chain is my top choice.
One interesting note, every other class that offers subclass specific spell only adds those spells to the character. The Warlock Patton spells actually add those spells to the Warlock Spell List for you, so you can cast them as scrolls. (Other casters don’t get that.)
