As far as I know, a subscription should not be needed for dice rolling on monsters to work. Given that the usual fixes for issues like this didn't help, your best bet is to submit a support ticket.
Tried disabling all my extensions, doesn''t work. Official Monsters by the way. Do you need the subscription to do this?
Since the Combat Tracker is still in Alpha, I believe so, yes. When that officially moves into Beta phase it will be available site wide. (DDB uses paying subscribers as the Guinea pigs for new features.)

Ah, but it's not in alpha anymore: The Encounter builder and Combat tracker have been combined together and are now Encounters. See this changelog post for more info.

As usual with new tools, this feature is currently available for subscribers, with the intent to move it to being available to everyone once we're happy that everything is stable in terms of performance and functionality.
Well I'll be....I made an assumption when the combat tracker came out of alpha/became part of encounters that everything involved went into beta, but apparently not.
When I open up monster deatils in the combat tracker, I can't click to roll for their attacks, abilities, etc.
It’s working for me. Any browser extensions? Ad blockers? A VPN? If so, try turning them off and see if it makes a difference.
also, official monsters or homebrew monsters?
