I am unable to add Echo Knight as my Fighter subclass. I am level 3, I believe our DM whose account we are usign has pretty much EVERYTHING, and i have the "Critical Role" toggle switched on.
You've got stuff from Theros, so I'm taking that to mean you do know which direction is 'on' for the optional switches (this confuses some folks). I'd double check with your DM that they actually have the content in question, and if they do, have them turn content sharing off then on again.
I'm having the same problem. I'm the DM and the content owner. I have checked several times that the CR switch is red(on or to the right) and echo knight does not show up. Can get CR gunslinger.

Sorry, I played around with the character after posting this as I was frustrated by the problem. I was looking at multiclassing the barbarian with echo knight but couldn't add it as a second class, and that's where the problem began.
You couldn't add fighter as a second class, or when you went to add fighter you couldn't see Echoknight to add? This is an important distinction.
Also, unlike the Way of the Cobalt Soul Monk, Open Sea Paladin, Gunslinger Fighter, and Bloodhunter, The Echo Knight is NOT a free subclass. It is inside the Explorers Guide to Wildemount and needs to be purchased to be able to be used on your character sheet. Make sure you own the book and/or purchase it here. If you don't own it and are not having it shared with you in a campaign while also making a character within said campaign you won't have access to it.

Also, is it possible that you only own the compendium of Explorer's Guide to Wildemount? If so, then you wouldn't have access to the character builder options.

I. Could add the fighter class but echo knight was not an option under subclass.
That doesn’t really answer Naruhoodie’s question (and ConalTheGreat’s implied question). You-or someone in the campaign-must own Explorers Guide to Wildemount in order for you to have access to the Echo Knight. The gunslinger is free, but the echo knight is not. Please note that someone else in the campaign having it only helps if campaign sharing is turned on (a benefit of the master tier sub) AND the character in question is IN the campaign.

What am I missing?

Did you share the right link? That character is a barbarian, not a fighter
