The Exandria firearms don't have the ammunition property so they cannot be used with the repeating shot artificer infusion. This is highly inconvenient and I have been unable to find a work around.
This is probably on purpose since all of the Exandria firearms are tied to the unofficial Gunslinger subclass that was added as a part of the collaboration with critical as homebrew, other subclasses aren't really supposed to be able to use them. They also have a special mechanic for their ammo that requires the player to make it as cost determined by the DM.
