Hey! I'm not sure where to post this; if I need directed to another forum, I'm happy to post in the correct place.
I'm designing an underwater encounter, and I noticed that the Young Kraken from Locathah Rising and the Juvenile Kraken from Ghosts of Saltmarsh are both CR 14 despite the latter being a Legendary monster while the former is not. Also, the Young Kraken's stats do not justify its being CR 14 per the guidelines in the DMG for damage output, AC, and HP. I'm not sure if this was a misprint in the original adventure or a mistake in importing things onto Beyond, but I just wanted to put it on someone's radar!

Thanks!
Its not a misprint. They are literally the same creature except one has legendary actions as it is a legendary encounter within its adventure.
Also, CR is pretty busted historically. WOTC frequently ignore their own guidelines for what level CR a creature should be.
