I tried to do a search for this but was unable to find it. I am finding that when I go to DnDBeyond and go to my Campaigns I can see and select all of my players characters, but when I try to use the tab on the right of the character sheets to select a new character to view only four of the seven characters in my campaign group are there for me to see. I have to go back to the campaign list, select the campaign and then select the proper character. Is there something I or my players are doing wrong here? A setting I missed or is there a bug somewhere?
I’m having the exact same issue, but only 1 out of 4 does not appear in the tab to the right. That one can be accessed normally from the main Campaign list though.
It has come to my attention that when it does this, that the player the character belongs to has put their character on private. That means that no one can see their character in the campaign but the DM and the DM has to look at it from the main campaign screen.
Im having the exact same issue. None of my characters are showing up, I've tried logging out, I've tried restarting my computer but nothing works :/
Are you a DM and you are having trouble seeing the characters in your campaign--which was the original poster's issue--or are you a player not able to see your own characters?
If you are DM and are experiencing the same problem as the OP, the issue is that some of your players have set their characters to private. As a DM, you can access their characters if you go to Collections>My campaigns and choose the campaign, but if you first go to one of your player's characters, then click on the campaign link on that character's sheet, you will only see the characters that player can see. Note that all this was explained in the posts above.
If you cannot access your own characters, my guess is that you inadvertently have two accounts and your are logged in to the wrong one. This happens surprisingly frequently. In that case, you should contact support.
Hi there! Player here, I've been trying to have one of my characters join a new campaign after leaving an older one and she won't appear on the tab as a character that's available. I've tried refreshing the page, restarting the app, even logging out/back in.
I had unassigned my character before the previous DM removed me from said campaign, and now she is unavailable for any other campaign from the looks of it. I can't even add her back to the one she was in. She is on public and can still be accessed by everyone in our group, but there is no way to bring her back. Do you have any suggestions?

I have the same problem, a PC doesnt show up on the quick list. Shows up within the campaign otherwise though.

Awesome thanks for pointing that out. Helps a bunch
I'm having the same issue.
Is this "feature" going change?
It's really uncomfortable to use.
