So i bought some of the book info that helps me with getting some more possibility's for character creation and one of those was the Graviturgy and Chronurgy magic and their spells. Even though i know this is a critical role feature but when i wanted to make a character with one of these features it didn't give me any way of selecting it. The magic stands under the wizard class info but they can't learn the spells and the specialty didn't show up when your at level 2 and choose your school of magic. After that i looked at the sorcerer spell list and saw that the spells that would normally fit with the Graviturgy and Chronurgy magic trait stood under the sorcerer spells but also when choosing your bloodline power you don't have any option on chosing this. Is this something that hasn't been added yet or is a bug?? please let me know!
Those spells are only available to the Chronurgist or Graviturgist wizard subclasses. If you want to make them available to other subclasses you will need to duplicate them in homebrew and modify them as required.
Graviturgy and Chronurgy spells are not on the class list for either Wizard or any other class. They are only available to Wizards with those two particular Wizard subclasses. If you want to use them for other classes too, you would have to homebrew versions for them based off of the originals.
However, if you bought both the subclasses, and the spells from the book in this website, then you should be able to use both. I have three things you could try before you worrying however.
In the character builder, on the very first tab marked “home” is the switch next to “critical role content” on (red) if not, that’s the problem.
In the marketplace, does it still give you the option to purchase them? If so, the sale didn’t go through for some reason. If that’s the case, check if you were actually charged for the purchase. If not, then buy them. If it did, you would need to contact a specific branch of support that I don’t have the contract for, I just know it exists.
If the switch is on (red), and the sale went through, on that same “Home” tab scroll all the way down to the bottom below the switch to set the character as public/private. Is there a character sheet version number, or is it blank?
Hi! I am having the same issue, however, I have all of the content enabled.
I purchased the subclass for Graviturgy Wizard, someone in my group wants to play a Wizard, with Graviturgy Subclass. However, even though I've purchased it....it will not show up as an available subclass.
Do you have content sharing enabled or do you have the content enabled on the homepage for the character sheet? You'll need to have both enabled to be able to use the content.
So just to be clear You'll need to have content sharing enabled within the campaign, Critical role content enabled on the character sheet, and be a wizard of 2nd level to be able to use the content.
I have it enabled both in the group and on the individuals character sheet. 2nd level! That would make sense, so it's likely not showing up because it's a starter level 1 wizard!
Yup! I'd have your player (and yourself as a refresher) take a look at the Wizard Table and rules to make sure that you both have a good understanding of how the class works just to make sure that everyone understands what a wizard does and make an informed choice about actually playing one.
