My players and I are running spelljammers academy and this is our first time having any experience with the Artificer class the party just hit level 2 and the artificer choose the infusion he would use to be the homunculus servant but I don't see anyway to add it to his stat sheet or anything so I don't know if its just a missing option, or its not a option at all, if it isn't a option does anyone have a easy way for me to help him run it during combat and such.
Extras aren't handled great by the character sheet. I thought it's hit points and attacks showed up on the actions tab as though it was a class feature? Otherwise I would create a feat to represent it with limited uses=hit points. And use the manage feats to add it to the character.
The Extras statblock for Homunculus Servant is incorrect. If you see "Might of the Master" as a trait, that's the old version originally published in Eberron. DDB deprecated it since it's not up to date, and doesn't properly account for changes due to your PC's proficiency bonus, artificer level and spell attack bonus.
But you can use it as the basis for homebrewing your own Homunculus Servant using the stat block presented in the Infusion's description. You'll just need to update it whenever you level up and/or change your INT modifier. You'll also need to set the homebrew Servant's CR to your level to ensure that its proficient skills have the correct values.

Update: The stats show up under your infusions (Inventory -> Infusions -> Homunculus -> Click on where it says Tiny construct)
That will let you track the hit points. I can't find a spot for its attack action, so you will need a custom action or feat.
You can use the Lock Sidebar button to make it not disappear
