I made this reference by going through the DDB ToCs (and added some additional links) and looked up the corresponding page in the Core Rules.
I'm done for today! :-P I think it's pretty good as is, but Classes in PHB could be fleshed out, and Treasure in DMG could definitely use some more links.
I've updated the DMG list for readability, now there's only one reference for each individual page, and I used indents to mark which DDB sections go to a certain page. I've also used indents to try to indicate different heading levels.
And I included page references to all magic items!! :-D *pheeeeew*
Edit: I'll give the same treatment to the PHB listing, and probably revork the Spell section :-D
I've updated post #7 to clarify that these lists where made with DDB as the starting point, meaning it's a visual aid to get an approximate page number from DDB. I also changed the title of the thread to make this more clear. It's a bit counter intuative since the page numbers are listed first, but that's because of readability. I could possibly make changes for this...
Anyway, I've been busy with another project where the aim was to have a way of looking up a page number from the Core rules on DDB. To that end, I made https://ddbredirecter.com/redirecter/ which helps you look up page numbers from the Core Rules.
We're playing Curse of Strahd, I've got a Homebrew spell "Magnetic Snare", have been told that can't use it because it's a homebrew source spell... not published with original DND 5e game..!
There's no such rule (besides Adventure League). Given that the spell is not in the Core Rules, it would definitely be up to the DM to decide if it is allowed or not.
The battleaxe is a versatile weapon, which means you can use it one or two-handed. The 1d8+3 is for single hand and the 1d10+3 is for two-handed.
Also, questions like this - if you can't find another post that addresses it previously - should be their own post, rather than tacked on to existing posts that are not directly related.

This feels like an excellent way for a new player to "flip through the book" and see what's where.
I like it. :)
Important note: Most links(?) in the reference does not correspond to an actual page break in the physical books, but rather to the closest linkable section of the DDB compendiums. That means that sometimes the information you might be looking for is above the section you arrive at. If you don't find what you're looking for, link to the page before and scroll down.
I made this reference by going through the DDB ToCs (and added some additional links) and looked up the corresponding page in the Core Rules.

I've updated the DMG list for readability, now there's only one reference for each individual page, and I used indents to mark which DDB sections go to a certain page. I've also used indents to try to indicate different heading levels.
And I included page references to all magic items!! :-D *pheeeeew*
Edit: I'll give the same treatment to the PHB listing, and probably revork the Spell section :-D

I've updated post #7 to clarify that these lists where made with DDB as the starting point, meaning it's a visual aid to get an approximate page number from DDB. I also changed the title of the thread to make this more clear. It's a bit counter intuative since the page numbers are listed first, but that's because of readability. I could possibly make changes for this...
Anyway, I've been busy with another project where the aim was to have a way of looking up a page number from the Core rules on DDB. To that end, I made https://ddbredirecter.com/redirecter/ which helps you look up page numbers from the Core Rules.

hi, where do I find the rule that prevents players from using Homebrew Creations in the DND 5E story lines/ missions/quests, etc.

There is no such rule. Are you refering to adventure league?
We're playing Curse of Strahd, I've got a Homebrew spell "Magnetic Snare", have been told that can't use it because it's a homebrew source spell... not published with original DND 5e game..!
would this also be a decision of the DM/GM ?

There's no such rule (besides Adventure League). Given that the spell is not in the Core Rules, it would definitely be up to the DM to decide if it is allowed or not.

Excluding. In an Adventure League (AL) game, homebrew is never allowed.
If you are not playing in an Adventure League (AL) game, then homebrew is at the discretion of the DM. Some DMs don't allow any, others do.

The battleaxe is a versatile weapon, which means you can use it one or two-handed. The 1d8+3 is for single hand and the 1d10+3 is for two-handed.
Also, questions like this - if you can't find another post that addresses it previously - should be their own post, rather than tacked on to existing posts that are not directly related.
