Strange one (I think anyway), why can my players put spells from content none of us own into their character sheet? Specifically elemental evil players handbook.
I wanted to do our first campaign as a fairly vanilla one but they have been able to put a couple of spells from that in their character sheet.
The Elemental Evil Players Companion is free to everyone, and still considered fairly “vanilla” by most people at this point (at least compared to the stuff that has come out since).
“The book” isn’t really much of a book, just a small handful of racial options and some spells. That being said it should still be available as a “book” to view here on DDB. But all of the spells and I believe all of the races have since been reprinted, and are available in other books, and the races are now “legacy content” anyway, so it’ll probably never happen. If you want to you can view/download the PDF for free directly from WotC: (https://media.wizards.com/2015/downloads/dnd/EE_PlayersCompanion.pdf).

I thank you.
I can’t find the ‘book’ anywhere on the site which is confusing.
Happy to help.
