Improved Pact Weapon not showing up for Homebrew Subclasses

I made a Homebrew Subclass based off the Hexblade however, when the Improved Pact Weapon invocation was selected it doesn't give me an option to apply it to a weapon. The choice unfortunately doesn't show up, it just shows "pact weapon" option.

The “improved” part of the pact weapon is applied automatically.
