I have been trying to upload a custom portrait for one of my characters, but I keep getting an error message. The Character Builder lets me pick an image from my computer but then as soon as I click "Set Portait," I get the error below. The file is 80 KB, so it is well under the maximum size of 3 MB. I get the same error both on Desktop (using Chrome) and on the D&D Beyond mobile app. I've tried several times over the last two weeks and the same thing happens every time.
The Character Builder just let me upload another image for the character portrait even though it was a .png, so I tried converting the right picture to a .png but that still didn't work. Ended up taking a screenshot of the pic and saving it as a .jpg and that finally worked. I don't know why it would accept a .jpg screenshot of the original .jpg but not the original .jpg itself.

Whoops! We rolled a 1 on our API check. We're heading into town to visit the blacksmith for repairs.
Try again after a Short Rest.
It has to be a .jpg file or it won’t work.

It is a .jpg image. Sorry, I should have included that in the original post.
