On equipment page of view character using either add items or manage equipment, the Rod of the Pact Keeper is not listed. Tried with and without various filters, but no luck.
Have you purchased the item, or Have the DMG? Rod of the Pact Keeper is not part of the Basic Rules, and thus requires to be purchased or accessed via campaign sharing.
Wand of fireballs is in basic rules (DMG includes the basic rules items plus some extra). You don't have access to DMG. Have your master subscription holder check their subscription and content sharing.
The fact you could do this and not now is what makes everyone here suspect something is wrong with the person with the master tier subscription and content sharing.
EDIT: Try clicking on Rod of the Pact Keeper and making sure you can access that page, if not, you no longer have access to that resource.
I’ll contact my friend with the master subscription and ask him to check but I can view all content from the DMG on the website and app but can’t add the items to my character’s inventory. I clicked the link you posted and I can view the page.
Is that character in the campaign that has content-sharing enabled? Or is this character just one you created. I don't think that is how the site works but just wanted to ask, it might be a thing.

ArcaneBelial, ensure that the character you want to add the Rod of the Pact Keeper to is IN the campaign with sharing enabled. Looking at the link you provided it appears the character is not currently in a campaign, which would likely be your problem.

Content sharing is enabled. I can add other items from the same source (DMG) but not the rod of the pact keeper.
What other items from DMG can you add? Can you add alchemy jug?

So you’re saying it’s possible that I can read the DMG through content sharing but not add items to my character without him changing a setting?

Use the same join link, there will be an option to select one of your already created characters. :)
