Hi, recently I was searching around the Marketplace and noticed that all books have the option to buy it completely (the digital format of the book and its functional items to use in the character builder and other tools) and the compendium version that as far as I understood is just the digital copy of the book, without its items.
So the thing is, I have the physical books to consult and read, but D&D Beyond it's a wonderful tool to speed up things in a game section, so I would like to buy only the items (all items) of my books, is there and option, bundle or pack where I can buy the collection of all general items of a book without the digital copy to cheaper the price? Just like to opposite of the compendium option.
I mean, you could go grabbing all individual items from the book page on the marketplace, but it ends up costing practically the same price as the book normal purchase.
So basically what I'm looking for its an option to just buy the functional part of the books to use in the website tools (such as the character builder), without its digital copy.
You can. If you're looking at a particular book in the marketplace, between the description and the Compendium Only section, should be sections for all of the stuff. Each of those sections of subclasses, items, feats, etc can be purchased. At the end of the day, it's going to come close to, if not surpass the price of the fully functional book, so add up the totals before hitting that purchase button. If you do just get some of the sections, those prices will be deducted from the fully functional book if you come back at a later time to get it then.
