Hi, I have a Problem with the Character Sheet of one of my players. He is a Multiclass Paladin 6 / Bard 9 Character. The Problem is he can not choose any 5th level Spells from the Bard List. The Problem only appears when he has the Collage of Lore as a Bard Subcalss. When he has no Subclass, he can take the Spells normally. The Problem happens with nearly all Sub Classes accept from the creation Bard. But perhabs I have gotten some rules wrong, or something.

The problem is most likely because the player has already selected their Magical Secrets. Those spells are not in addition to their normal spells know , but instead take up space in their list of known spells. If they unselect those Magical Secret spells, they will likely be able to choose 5th-level spells. Essentially, hare players need to plan ahead when they choose their Magical Secrets.

I noticed the character doesnt have any bard spells at all. Is the player aware that the manage spells tab separates their spellcasting classes? They should be able to see their bard spells by scrolling down.
