im slowly adding materials to my collection and next on my list is a sourcebook like Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything, however I am in no rush to grab it but I do want the Bard Sublass ‘School of Eloquence’ that it offers to enhance my hard builds.
The problem is you cannot buy it separately from Tasha’s store page for the usual $1.99, you can however buy it from its ORIGINAL sourcebook which is Mythic Odysseys of Theros.
I was wondering if I did buy if from the MOoT page, would it discount my eventual purchase of TCoE like it would with any other specific purchase? Or only on a purchase of MOoT, which I can’t honestly see myself ever picking up.
It will only credit towards the book it's listed in, that's why it's only listed in one place (plus preventing people from accidentally buying it twice, probably). Artificer subclasses were originally available as a individual purchase in ERFtLW before they got revamped and moved to Tasha's. I bought them from ERFtLW, and that's still where I'm listed as having the credit.
I believe that you can buy the subclass bundle from Tasha's, and that will include all the reprinted subclasses, not just the ones listed for individual purchase.

Bundle says ‘25 sub classes’ and that lines up with the 25 available for $1.99, not including Eloquence
also weirdly main listing says 22 subclasses but it offers 25 separately plus whoever knows how many more that are like eloquence and missing from list

weird
Eloquence was originally published in Theros I believe, and counts as credit toward that book.
