I’m having the same issue, I can’t access my characters at all on the website but I can access and edit them on the app and all it gives me is an error code.
I have a similar issue, except it seems to be browser specific for me. Sometime after midnight GMT, the character sheet's API just doesn't bother to work and spits out a 500 error code whenever I use Opera to edit/view sheet, but works fine when I use Chrome
I'm using Microsoft Edge (yes, I know) and I've been getting this issue for 2 days straight now. Any attempt to open a character sheet, mine or someone else in the campaign, just brings an instant API error. However on the android App it works perfectly fine.
I'm getting same issue, different error code: d55a3f297b404bc7b84410ccb9ec91f8 The browser I'm using is "Brave", I've used it for years with dndbeyond and never had an issue. Haven't been able to open a character sheet on it going on over a week now. Brave is my preferred browser and what I have everything saved on so really inconvenient to have to have Dndbeyond pulled up in a whole separate browser just to look at my character sheets and my players and NPCs.

No pop-up blockers or anything like that enabled. It seems to work (for the moment) in Chrome... but I'm not keeping my hopes up based on this thread.
I stream and run my games using DNDB but the quality of User Experience lately with all the tech issues (leaving all non-tech related issues aside for the moment) has been really lacking.
If you are having problems in one browser but not another or not in incognito mode, try clearing your cache and/or cookies. Also give a serious read to this comment, and actually that entire thread (that fix is Chrome specific, but might clue other browser users into the cause). All these errors look like the cookie length overrun error is starting to affect more things than pictures.
I played a session last night and a session this afternoon with no issue at all. About to go into another session tonight.
FYI - I cleared the cookies and cache from Chrome and was able to get back in.
