Hello! First time poster. It's also my first time creating a character and using a homebrew subclass. In the Cleric class, subclass "Dream Domain" I can choose a bonus proficiency. You can choose to gain proficiency either in Martial Weapons and Poisoner’s Kits, or Heavy Armor and Herbalism Kits. Either choice I make though will not save. I've tried choosing a completely different domain, saving and then going back and changing it back, etc. No luck. I'm not entirely sure what else to do. I'll include a link just in case it helps. https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/104640646/builder/class/manage
It sounds like a bug with the subclass. You will have to contact the subclass’s creator, but hey will have to republish the subclass with a fix, and then you will need to remove the old version of the subclass from your collection and add the new version and use that.
I have one more question... During the recent sale I bought Eberron Rising from the Last War for my DM. He has shared the content and it says under my content manager that he's sharing it. However, I realize that I don't have access to the Kalashtar race when I'm creating a character. Is this a bug as well? Do I just need to buy the book myself? Thanks again...
Ahh... Got it. I'll probably just go without but thank you for letting me know! I thought maybe it was something I was doing wrong on my end.
You can manually add the proficiency on your character sheet. Clicking on the armor or the tool should open up Proficiencies & Languages in the sidebar. Midway down there's an option for 'add new proficiencies.' Choose from the 'existing' section of the dropdown, and once you've selected the relevant item it'll show up in the top half of the sidebar, with a free text field where you can add info on the source, noting it's from the subdomain.

Do you have Eberron content turned on/red/right in the character preferences? And is this character already in the campaign through which content is being shared?

Ahh... so the custom preferences worked. That is awesome, thank you!
And yes the Eberron content is turned on. But no the character is not already in the campaign which is sharing the content. Does it need to be?
