I have made a level 5 warlock for my campaign and when I go to add my spells, the first level spells don't show up. Instead, they show up as 2nd and third level spells. Idk if this is a bug or a new warlock feature so I'm asking for help.
Warlock spells are always the same level. The 7th column in the Warlock table shows what level spells you have. A 5th level warlock casts all of it's leveled spells as 3rd level spells. This is how warlocks have always been in 5th edition.
Some Warlock spells may show up in lower levels if they have been granted by Eldritch Invocations, usually with a once per long rest Use or At-Will depending on the invocation.
