Hello, I homebrewed a subclass for warlock, made sure under the home section of character creation to tick all the boxes necessary, but when I created an extended spell list, only ONE spell is showing up and the rest of them arent. It doesn't matter what level I put my character, only that one spell shows up and nothing else. I'm trying to add this expanded spell list
But the only spell that shows up is Detect thoughts and nothing else. All the spells are listed under the same "additional spell list" section. So I'm not understanding why none of the others show up. I even did this homebrew from the template of fiend and just altered what spells were there, so its not like im doing this from scratch either. I'm aware these spells are supposed to show up under "add spell" but only detect thoughts is. There's no reason why 1 spell would show up and the rest don't no matter my characters level.
Thanks, I gave it a shot but no cigar. I took off the subclass on the test character. I then re-saved every save button I could find on the subclass. Waited an hour, put it back on the test character. Only that blasted Detect Thoughts is showing up.
I did, that's why I'm able to see at least 1 of them. Every place I have the spell "Detect Thoughts", I have the rest. If I didn't place it in the right place, I wouldn't be able to see Detect Thoughts at the minimum.
Basic Info under "additional specific spells" Check
Class Features section where I wrote an expanded spell list and the feature is listed as "granted" - in that section, added under "additional spell list" - Check
Options under home section in character creation toggled on - Check
I'm wondering if maybe it's a book related thing. Like, I don't have access to those particular spells because I haven't bought some book yet... because I just tried out a top rated homebrew subclass that has the same spell in its list "dissonant whispers" and when I went to check my spell list, its not showing up either. Seems like its either a bug, or a feature that I haven't bought... Although I dunno what feature that is that allows me to grab other spells.
Like I said, I used the fiend template, so all I did on that page, is change out the spells. Where it linked to is what the template originally had. And no, I don't own PHB on this website.

Try re-saving the whole subclass, waiting 20 minutes, removing the subclass from the test character and adding it back again.

Did you add the spells to the “additional spell list” subform attached the class feature, or to the “additional specific spells” field under Basic Information? Please see the Homebrew Subclasses & Species FAQ #13-A for more information: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/131411-a-homebrewers-how-to-faq).

Please post a link to your character sheet, and one for your UNPUBLISHED subclass so somebody can look into this for you.

Says it is.
Out of curiosity, how come you linked those spells to that other website instead of linking to their pages on this website?

Do those particular spells require me to own phb in order to access them?
Some of them, yes. Either that or you need to be in a campaign with someone who has it and in which content sharing has been enabled.
