In various views of monster stat blocks, including when added to a character sheet as a misc or other extra, the stat block is showing the coding language behind rolls and the buttons are not properly tagged to the activities. I have observed this in the encounter builder and in the custom monster creation tool.
I've noticed the same problem- it wasn't an issue before, and I've also rolled from the stat-block without issue. When I looked up the beast in an external window, the stat-block was displayed correctly and worked perfectly.
I was looking at the Mule statblock from my extra's tab, and noticed this in the actions section. Came to check if other people were seeing this, although I'll leave my example here in case it helps.
Hooves. Melee Weapon Attack: {"diceNotation":"1d20+2","rollType":"to hit","rollAction":"Hooves"} to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 {"diceNotation":"1d4+2","rollType":"damage","rollAction":"Hooves","rollDamageType":"bludgeoning"} bludgeoning damage.
All of my dice notation is no longer rollable on my homebrew creations. The stats show up as normal (they don't show the notation code), but I can't roll off them anymore.
Was this feature discontinued for homebrew creations? that would kind of suck after I spent all that time learning how to code for dice notation :(
But I was still having issues with the My Encounters app. Even after updating my AdBlocker, I was still just showing lines of code and any dice-rolling functionality was completely broken. I realized that it was the TaleSpire plugin for Chrome that was also breaking the code in the My Encounters, once that was removed everything is functioning properly again. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Yes, we haven’t been able to roll from Monster Statblocks yet, so they are adding that feature now and the code is still a little wonky for it.

Has this ever been resolved? I'm having the same issue
Yes, it was resolved. Are you running any ad/popup blockers, browser extensions, or a VPN? One of those might be interfering with DDB.

Thank you, that fixed part of the problem.
