When I level my Warlock up to Level 3, all my first level spells and spell slots vanish, but the upgraded second level variations remain. The only 1st level spell I can see is Mage Armor but I think that's just of some weird thing with the Eldritch stuff. Im sorry if this question has been answered before but I have no idea what is going on please help

They’re not broken, that’s just how they work. Please re-read the Pact Magic feature as it is very, very different from traditional Spellcasting.

That's how spellcasting works for warlocks.

You just need to flip on the thing that displays your spells as upcastable

Yup. In exchange you get your spell slots back on a short rest, and you get Eldritch Invocations to supplement your spellcasting. Happy to help.
