I've seen 2 threads dating back to 2018 about its not working in the attack list. Any plans to fix that?
Bump. We are close to 3 years since the first request (in a different thread) was posted. Can we PLEASE have the Tentacle Rod added to the "Actions" section?

Please do not spam the forums. As much as we all want everything to be implemented properly on Beyond, spamming does not help and it pushes other people's bug reports off the first page.
Due to the way Beyond was originally designed, items cannot grant additional and/or very unique actions. The best work around right now is to create a custom action on the character sheet itself to simulate that action.
It wasn’t my intention to spam the forum. I was, however, trying to point out that people have been asking for this for close to three years. I doubt the problem is completely unfixable, and it can’t hurt to bring the issue up to the top of the forum every once in a while. I’ll be sure to limit my requests to one post in the future.
It’s not an issue inherent to the tentacle rod itself. Currently it is not possible to add “Actions” to magic items at all. You can confirm that yourself by making a homebrewed magic item, you’ll notice the “Actions” subsection is not there like it is for race/class/feat homebrews. We use the same system they use, so if it’s missing for us it’s missing for them too. It isn’t a matter of adding one thing to one item. They have to do all of the coding to add that entire subsection to the magic item creation platform, and doing it in such a way that it doesn’t “break” every homebrewed magic item ever created with the system. That’s almost a quarter of a million published magic items, and probably another three quarters of a million unpublished ones (if not more).
They’re working on it, but it is by no means a “simple fix.”

Thanks for the detailed explanation. That definitely makes the scope of the problem clearer. I appreciate it.
Well I'm glad I'm not doing something wrong. But I'm sad that its not fixed 2 years later.
