I’m having the same issue too, I bought the book, I got the email telling me the purchase went through, and i still don’t have access. It was pending for a while yesterday and I thought that maybe that might’ve been the issue, but I paid for it quite early in the morning (West Australian time) and it’s been about 24 hours since. Does it normally take this long for content people buy on D&D Beyond’s app to become available?
Ive already sent a ticket to D&D Beyond to help me sort this out, but I just wanted to ask if this was a normal encounter.
When you say “can’t access,” what exactly do you mean? Can’t access at all, or can’t access for character sheets? If it’s just the character sheet, did you buy the “compendium only,” or the “full version”of the PHB?
EDIT: I bought the full version of the PHB through the D&D Beyond app (which was through my iPhone if that’s of any help), now when ever I log into D&D Beyond, it still says “Marketplace” under the PHB when the rest of the products I have don’t (ie the Strahd character options and the basic rules, etc). I have my receipt from Apple for the in-app purchase to D&D Beyond, but whenever I got to open the PHB on the app, it sends me to the marketplace to “buy now”. But I’ve already bought it, so I have no idea what’s happened.
It’s as if the purchase wasn’t even done, like it didn’t happen, but I have my invoice from apple, I have evidence it did, so why can’t I find the product I paid for?
EDIT 2: Maybe a refund would work, that way I can try another method of purchase, instead of going through Apple, I go through D&D Beyond directly.

I get it. Sounds like there is nothing we can talk you through and you just have to wait for support to get to you (probably on Monday, maybe Tuesday).

If you purchase things through the app, it is going to take a while since the payment has to go through a third party.
In the future, if you want your purchases to be immediate, purchase things through the website instead.
I purchased the PHB and am not getting it
Hi there, I'm sorry to hear you're having issues accessing the content you purchased on D&D Beyond.
Are you unable to access any of the Player's Handbook, or just certain content?
Yeah we are going need more information.
Did the purchase go through?
Do you have access to the compendium?
Are spell listings working?
Does your character have access to feats and subclasses?
Basically, what have you tried that made you think you don't have access?
There is also this rare issue where content takes a moment to unlock after purchase. It usually goes away on its own.

When you clicked sposta's link did you see a section that said "Your entitlements data is in sync!"? That is what he wanted you to check.
Are you sure you're using the same login on both the app and website? Have access to same books from both? is PHB accessible on the app?
Customer support works Monday-friday, so they will probably get to you tomorrow.

Just found this thread and I am having same access issue after purchasing from my laptop on the website.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried the steps in this message thread, but to no avail.
