My DM gave me a +1 to athletics as a boost from completing something in game. I'm already proficient in the skill. Is there a way to add another +1 to this skill only? Or will I have to imagine it?

At the bottom of the Skills section of the character sheet it says “Skills ⚙️” with a little cogwheel symbol like that. Click it and it’ll bring up the sidebar with a list of all your skills. Then click on the desired skill, in your case Athletics, and the sidebar will change to just display that skill. Then click on “CUSTOMIZE,” and the sidebar will change again and you would enter “1” in the “Skill Misc Bonus” field, and type in where the bonus comes from in the description field next to it.

You can customize the skill directly on the character sheet and apply the bonus there.
